BMW Introduces the All-New 2018 X3

In late June, BMW rolled out the 2018 X3 during a special ceremony at the company’s plant in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The all-new Sports Activity Vehicle delivers the striking design and luxurious comfort you’ve come to expect from a BMW.

The new X3 enjoys advanced aerodynamics thanks to its optimized proportions, an active signature kidney grille, a roof spoiler with Aero Blades at the sides and air curtains that help regulate the flow of cooling air for the engine, brakes and air conditioning.

The X3 xDrive30i features a TwinPower Turbo 2.0-liter 4-cylinder inline engine that generates 248 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque while delivering a 0-60 mph time of 6.0 seconds. The X model series now has its first-ever M Performance model, as the flagship X3 M40i will boast a 3.0-liter M Performance TwinPower Turbo 6-cylinder engine that produces 355 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. The M40i also offers available variable sport steering, dynamic damper control, M Sport suspension and M Sport brakes for more dynamic driving.

A 8-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission is standard, and is tuned to match the engine’s specific characteristics, while the BMW xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive has been improved to operate more efficiently and also is standard issue.

The 2018 BMW X3 will arrive at dealerships in November.
