It's natural for consumers to want their new BMW vehicles to fit into more than one category. Fortunately, BMW has its consumers' desires in mind and has come up with a model that fills several automotive needs in one: the BMW 3 Series Sports Wagon.

Just recently, the automaker released images and details for its next-gen variant of the innovative all-in-one wagon and confirmed that it will indeed be available in the U.S. on lots such as BMW of Mobile, 3025 Government Blvd. Mobile, AL 36606. When will that be? BMW says the refreshed model will first launch in Europe this year and then arrive here next spring.

Retaining all the driving dynamics you'd expect from a BMW 3 Series sports sedan, the 3 Series wagon adds a bit more room than its predecessor thanks to a wider wheelbase. Not only will this improve the riding experience of rear-seat passengers but the spunky sports wagon will offer up greater utility cargo space as well.

Similar to its sedan sibling, the new 3 Series wagon variant will cater to individual drivers' tastes with BMW Lines. Consumers can pick and choose between the Sport Line, Luxury Line, and Modern Line. Of course, showing its true 3 Series character, the forthcoming model will also offer up the performance-tuned M Sport Line.
